My Daughter got these foam puzzle pieces for her birthday one year. I came up with a great game for the kids to play that helps them recognize their letters and numbers.
First we separated the letters and numbers from their pieces.
The children then each took turns matching the letters back into their pieces. I would help them find the correct piece buy telling them what color to look for.
Once we had all the letters and numbers back in their place we spread them out again and worked together to put them in their correct order.
