A Beautiful Weekend in May

This past weekend was a busy one. We had beautiful weather and lots of fun things going on. Saturday morning we baked cookies for Grandpa for his Birthday and had some friends over to play. Then that afternoon my sister and I got to walk through our old high school before it is torn down. It was a great experience.

The Courtyard

It was a little sad saying good bye to our old school but that's nothing a couple drinks and sitting around a fire that night couldn't help. We had a great time celebrating my Dad's birthday that night at my aunt and uncles house. Maggie spent the evening with her grandmother (Mamma) and her cousins so that meant Mommy and Daddy got to enjoy a nice relaxing and fun evening. Sunday was family day and perfect for taking Maggie out to fly her kite for the first time.

She ran around and around in cirlces with her kite trailing behind her. She loved it.

We took a trip to the playground where Maggie spent most of the time going down this slide.

After the playground we had some lunch, ran some errands, and finished the day playing in the back yard and cooking on the grill. Now that is what I call a perfect weekend.
